I love people. I get people. I get energy from building teams of people. I’m happiest where I can create a positive, drama-free culture that focuses on the work, connects the dots, and raises the creative bar. Good culture = profit. I understand the importance a well-operating creative department can have on an organization. I ensure the work is strategically sound, on time, and within budget. C-Suite management can lean on me for conceptual thinking and unique positioning challenges. Creative team members can count on me for practical leadership and maximum personal growth.
The most satisfying parts of my job are balancing the vision and the strategy through campaign development, inspiring great work, and bringing out the best in each person on my team.
I have worked at agencies big and small for clients big and small and in-house for a non-profit. I have worked for James Patterson (yes the author) and Terri and Sandy (my first female mentors)to name a few.
My work has been honored at Cannes, D&AD, Kelly Awards, One Show, Effies, and Addys along with multiple New York, Chicago, and Ohio festivals. It has been featured in Archive, Adweek, Communication Arts, and the New York Times and can be found at the Museum Of Modern Art in New York City. I’ve taught at Pratt Institute in NY and have proudly mentored a lot of truly talented (and pretty successful) creatives over the years.
I’m dedicated to my family, my 3 children and my community. If you come visit me, I will definitely feed you and it will most likely be something Lebanese.
